WordPress is the easiest way to build our website and it is good to take a start. Also, WordPress can be used as a full website management of a blogging website. We can say that WordPress is a pre-prepared website for blogging.

After server setup, domain registration it is required that how to manage it. Managing one dashboard at a time is easy and the platform of WordPress is also easy.

Updating WordPress, plugins, themes, creating content, moderating comments, maintenance is required for proper website designing with WordPress. If you will do work on WordPress and give it some time, you can be a master on it.

Essential Dashboard options which are necessary to understand for make it good.

WordPress is an open source content management system. So that this is the combination of plugins, pages, posts, categories, products, article, and forms. So we have to modify these things in our WordPress site. Options which are important to edit:

  • Theme
  • customization
  • pages
  • plugins
  • settings
  • contact forms
  • user management

Theme:

A theme is an essential part of our WordPress site, In other words, we can say that our theme is the sole of our website. Because theme will make the major interface on our website. so first we have to add a good theme on our website. Themes can be different according to your need. Themes vary according to the E-Commerce site, Blogging site, NGO site, School site etc. So choose it wisely according to your plan. If you want to start immediately you can go with a paid theme. By adding a paid theme or a premium version theme the options are available in access amount. If you wish to learn the only theme take a good nulled theme which has a good interface.

One thing is to remember before adding theme on our website, your theme should be responsive according to the devices. So that it can make as user-friendly and you it can build user experience.

Customization:

In this section, we can set menus and customize our header and footer section also we can set our color of the background, text color and all.

Pages:

For any type of the website, there are a set of responsible pages which forms a website collectively. Pages are divided as front pant page, contact, policies, and disclaimer. We can design every page according to the need but the front page is necessary to design properly because every user who will be interested in your website he/she lands on this page always.

In some of the theme, pages are combined with simple HTML and CSS, in some of the themes pages are separated by page builder and in some of the theme, pages are separated by shortcodes. So we have to be familiar with our theme arrange before editing the pages.

Plugins:

Websites have many types of features and these all features comes from a different module which is connected with the database of our website. In WordPress, we don’t have to learn about database connections and modules design.

For every single feature plugins are responsible, some plugins have single feature itself but some plugins have multiple features. We have to choose WordPress plugins wisely according to our need. Also, we have to understand that nothing is free everywhere so that in WordPress there are lots of plugins which are free but some are paid. and if we don’t have the potential to purchase these plugins then we can work with these plugins normal version also.

Settings:

This section is very important for every website, This section includes the main identity of your website like the title of your website, tagline, admin email, and lots more.

In the settings section, we can set the reading option that how we want to show it and also discourage it for indexed on google while it’s on under construction.

Contact Forms:

Forms which are useful for contacting with website admin through the website is also important because it builds connections and relations between user and admin. We can choose fields accordingly what we want from the users.

User Management (Contact):

Every website needs to have users management to manage the website. In the user section, 4 to 5 types of users are included. Main users are the admin users, so all the subscriber, customers and admin can be managed from this section.

I know that this single tutorial guide is not sufficient to handle the WordPress dashboard, so we have to make practicing on our dashboard with these available sections.
